We have been very busy the last few months working on a very special project. Be sure to look forward to that in the near future, we are all very excited about it.

On another note, we have sold out of the first 1000 of our new Wurlitzer reeds in 6 months time. We had nothing but positive responce about these reeds which we are extremly pleased about. We are waiting for our new batch now from our Manufacturer.

We are constantly manufacturing new parts for these old keyboards, this helps preserve old ones from becoming parts pianos. This also allows us to keep our prices down but manufacturing in quantity.

We just did more Work for Norah Jones for her upcoming promotions and world tour, we refurbished her Wurlitzer 206. We also custom made her 3 new Wurlitzer sustain pedals.
We also just refurbished a Wurlitzer 200A for Ani DiFranco for her current tour, they were very pleased with the piano as it had not been keeping up very well.

All I can say is thanks to all of our friends and customers that make it all happen here at Vintage Vibe. We are busting to tell everyone what we are up to but we have to keep it in the bag until it is unveiled.

Restorations

We have a few piano restorations for sale. Recently we sold a Hohner Clavinet Pianet Duo, a Rhodes 1974 88 key stage piano, a Fender Rhodes 1972, a Wurlitzer 200A, among others but we still have a nice stock of great vintage instruments.

We have two 1966 silver sparkle top Fender Rhodes suitcase pianos which are excellent pianos. We have a 1972 Fender Rhodes Mark I suitcase as well.

There are a few different Wurlitzers in stock including two 112's, a 140B, and a couple 200s (one comes with an original Wurlitzer hard case) and 200As. These won't last long so be sure to get them while you still can.

Fender Rhodes Parts Manufactured

Yes it has been a while since our last post. Summer has kept us very busy with touring season at hand. We are even busier now that the fall season is approaching and customers are looking to stock up as well as customers looking to buy that perfect gift.

We have been eagerly awaiting our new products we have been manufacturing this past summer.
Tone bar grommets like the originals
Tone Bar screws nickel plated like the old Fender Rhodes pianos, with the nice shoulder under the head of the screw for allowing the tone bar to pop.
New "Relic" Hammer Tips made firmer for a better attack and articulation
We have designed a replacement Damper arm for the fender Rhodes single strip damper pianos. These will replace the old worn out dampers. Very Much needed item.

We have made another batch of our Pratt and reed Synthesizer key bushings

Hohner Clavinet hammmer tips just like the originals " Orange"

We are keeping a big secret to ourselves but we have plans for something pretty major to happen.

Another Update

Haven't posted in awhile - it's been pretty busy here at the shop.

We have a few new keyboards that will be for sale soon. We'll have a Wurlitzer 200A, A Fender Rhodes 1972 Stage, a Fender Rhodes 1972 Suitcase, a 1966 Silver Sparkle Top Suitcase, and a Vox continental organ.

In the near future we will also have reproduction dampers for the Rhodes piano.

Busy

We recently just finished a big project of getting three Suitcase Rhodes 88 for a tour.

The shop is still full of repairs including a rare Wurlitzer 106 piano as well as a Fender Rhodes 49 note Silver Sparkle top. We are hard at work on all these repairs as well as putting together some new tech videos to share with all of you. Keep an eye out for all the new additions.

Farfisa Organs and Etc.

We have added a Farfisa section to the website and we are starting to sell more Farfisa parts. We've been doing Farfisa repairs for awhile, but now we will be selling individuall components as well as restored organs in the near future.

Our Wurlitzer reeds have been a success among customers and are selling well. They really are a perfect recreation of the original.

Also, our new back check mods are available and have been a much needed addition to many pianos.

There are only two of our Wurlitzer 200As in stock so don't miss your chance. These are the nicest we've seen and we don't know when we will come across more like it. We also have a Wurlitzer 200 for sale as well as a 140B.

We have sold the Fender Rhodes pianos we have had in stock but will have more in the future.

Wurlitzer Reeds

Vintage Vibe is excited to announce that we are the first to recreate a clone of the original Wurlitzer factory reed. These are as good as the original reeds or better. Sonically, visually they are identical to the original Wurlitzer factory reeds. They are fashioned after the 200A style reeds and side by side with the originals no one could tell the difference - in person or on record. These reeds will not break like past reproduction reeds made by us and other companies. These are the reeds of the future, when the original Wurlitzer factory reeds are gone our reeds will keep these instruments alive. These will be the new standard reeds and can be replaced with any original for equal tone, level and longevity.
